My client in Somerset is looking for an enthusiastic RVN to work in their independent, purpose-built, forward-thinking practice, situated on the beautiful Somerset levels, only an hour from Bristol. They are PSS accredited and a training practice, actively supporting career progression and CPD.
The successful applicant will help support the senior nurses in delivering outstanding care to patients and clients and giving help and guidance to more junior colleagues. A detailed induction package, with regular appraisals will be provided as you become part of their friendly team of four RVNs, four SVNs, one VCA alongside seven vets and a large reception team.
They are open to both full and part time applications so days and hours are negotiable.
The role will include a variety of responsibilities, such as clinical duties, theatre work, patient care, clinics, diagnostics, and reception with optional out of hours work. Although they are a mixed practice, the workload is roughly 95% small animal. OOHs are optional for this position and are paid separately.
The role will be tailored to suit the strengths and talents of the successful applicant. They offer a competitive salary, as well as extra benefits such as paid RCVS registration, staff discount and paid CPD.
Applications are welcome from students waiting to sit OSCES or those waiting for results.
(Range of pay approx. £22,000 to £28,000 based on full time equivalent)
Please get in touch for more information if you are interested in hearing more on the role!
