12 Month Maternity Cover for Vet Nurse in Gloucestershire

This fantastic practice in Gloucestershire requires a Vet Surgeon to join them from mid/late-October for a 12 month maternity cover. The role is as follows:

**5 days per week
**8-hour shifts between 7.30am – 10pm
**1:8 weekends (TOIL)
**Minimal on-call shifts

We require a referral nurse, ideally, to rotate through referral disciplines including surgery, medicine, ophthalmology, cardiology, etc. You will be assisting specialists in delivering anaesthesia, nursing care and chemotherapy to a wide and interesting case of patients.

The practice is well-equipped with new facilities including new prep rooms, theatres, and medicine facilities. They also have a team of 8 specialist clinicians in referrals, 3 interns, 7 first opinion Vets and 24 nurses (many with additional qualifications / certificates, making them able to support/train more junior members of the team). You must be confident working as part of a close knit team as well as independently.
