Lacey's client are seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon for their branch practice near Peterborough:
THE ROLE:
**LEAD VET – opportunity to develop and lead practice
**Full or Part Time; up to 4 days per week
**No OOHs
**1:3 Saturdays
**You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.
**Provide high standards of clinical care to your clients and patients
**Provide direction and leadership to colleagues in practice.
THE PERSON:
**An experienced vet (3 years + experience) who is able to perform most standard surgeries and manage complex medical cases.
**A good leader who is excited by the opportunity of developing other veterinary surgeons, new graduates and a nursing team.
**An individual who is excited by the prospect of a challenge and is keen to use their skills to advance the practice and the team.
**An organised individual who is confident in using computer programmes such as Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams.
**An individual who demonstrates initiative
**It would be desirable that the individual has managed teams before.
THE PRACTICE:
**4 Vet branch practice with stable support team, including experienced nurses and client care assistants.
**Just 6 miles from Peterborough with easy access and transport links to the Norfolk coast and London!
THE PACKAGE/BENEFITS:
**Competitive salary up to £70,000 including Accommodation allowance, and company Vehicle or vehicle allowance
**CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave.
**VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid.
