Dans client is looking for an OOHs Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy small animal surgery in Essex!
• Competitive salary up to £80,000 (not pro rata)
• Part-time role
• Shift pattern of 7 nights on and 14 off
• Monday to Friday 8pm-8:15am
• Weekends 6pm-9am
The practice is excellently located, with free on-site parking as well as fantastic transport links into central London in just 25 minutes and out to the Essex countryside within just 20 minutes. It is also ideally located for Stansted, City and Southend Airport, in case you feel like escaping in your 2 weeks off!
They have a well-established clinical team of 14 Vets and 18 Vet Nurses, holding a wide variety of individual interests from medicine through to soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. In addition, they offer a generous CPD allowance, meaning you will receive support towards studying your own interests at certificate level.
The surgery is spacious, and purpose built to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment including 2 dedicated operating theatres, ultrasound, in house laboratory and digital radiographs. They also have a full endoscopy unit, access to CT in another branch and are continually looking to invest in the best to improve the services that they can offer to clients.
The practice welcomes a varied caseload, so applicants will need to have existing experience in the UK, be confident working sole charge, competent with most emergency surgical procedures and have good diagnostic and medical skills.
Furthermore, it is important that you have excellent people skills, are flexible in your approach to practice and demonstrate passion for the practice and team. You must be comfortable in a consult room with clients and offer fantastic customer service and dedication.
