This independent practice in rural Essex are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, and an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to expand their team, plus Locum cover Dec – Jan. The roles are as follows:
SMALL ANIMAL
**Experienced Vet to be based at main Hospital, with occasional cover required at 2 nearby branch practices
**Opportunity to develop expertise in chosen filed if wanted
**Need to confident in basic surgeries and all medical work ups, and an advantage if can support interns.
**Full Time role – working 4 days per week
**The practice are proud to provide their own OOHs and continuity for their very loyal client base, so this will also be part of the rota with significant time away from the practice in return to allow for good work/life balance; the rota is 2;8 Saturday morning consults/1;8 weekends including OOHS and only 1 week night per fortnight.
**Salary offers circa £45-55k, depending on experience PLUS OOHs bonus and a generous CPD allowance and additional employee benefits.
EQUINE
**Experienced Equine Vet sought to provide an ambulatory service for Mixed Sports Horse and Leisure horse population
**Opportunity to develop expertise in chosen filed if wanted and specialist interests very much welcomed by the team.
**Full Time role – working 4 days per week
**Max of 2;8 Saturday mornings plus 1;8 weekend rota and 1 week night on-call per week
**Salary offer £36-44k (2-5 yrs Experience) / £45-55k (5yrs+ experience) PLUS OOHs bonus and a generous CPD allowance and additional employee benefits.
LOCUM (Small Animal)
**13th December – 10th January
**Monday – Friday
