Diverse Team in Hertfordshire Seeks Vet Surgeon and Head Vet

Lacey is currently working on 2 new and exciting opportunities for a Veterinary Surgeon and a Head Vet to join a friendly and diverse team in Hertfordshire.

NB – They are also looking for Locum vet cover in the meantime, if you have any availability to offer!

The practice established in September 2000, have a team of experienced and 8 very capable Veterinary Surgeons and 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses and 11 Receptionists who aim to provide the highest quality of care for their client’s and their pets. They have six surgeries which are situated around Hertfordshire. All equipped with high standard equipment including Digital Radiography, High-speed Colour Doppler Ultrasound scanners, DVD endoscopy, High-powered Dental Scalers and Polishers, ECG & Anaesthetic monitoring equipment.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days 9am to 7pm with 1 in 2 Saturday consult weekends, 1 Night a week on call and 1 in 7 long on call weekends - Friday evening to Monday morning. When on call you will only be called in as and when required. Mornings and afternoons are spent dealing with consultations and after will be spent dealing with the inpatients and liaising with the owners regarding further work ups required or you will be on theatre duties and will complete the ops booked in for that day.

An interest in surgery and/or orthopaedics would be advantageous, but this is not essential.
