Assistant Vet Needed in Busy Equine Vet Practice in Edinburgh

Equine only vet practice in Edinburgh seeks Vet Surgeon. It is an ambulatory practice, confident with providing a high standard to clients. You must be competent dealing with a large, mixed population of horses, using state-of-the-art equipment such as wireless DR x-ray, video endoscopy, motorised dental equipment, portable ultrasound, etc.

Candidates applying for this role must be enthusiastic and caring with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in equine practice.

Ideally candidates will have an RCVS certificate in equine discipline practice, however this is now essential as you will be provided with the support needed to pursue further qualifications. You will be part of a 4-Vet team and duties will be shared equally between you, including the 1 in 4 on-call rota for weekends and one night per week.
