Emillies client in Lanarkshire is looking for an Ambulatory Equine Vet, with previous experience in practice or a similar ambulatory role, to join their friendly and dedicated Vet team at their purpose-built practice. If you are an experienced Equine Vet this might be the role for you!
• Competitive salary, up to £58,000 (DOE and hours)

The practice is purpose built, with state-of-the-art equipment, located in a bustling market town in Lanarkshire. They have recently achieved Investors in the Environment Silver Level Award, currently progressing towards then highest level ‘Green’ awards.
You will be working at their equine referral hospital, with an experienced ambulatory service. The practice now provides first opinion vet services to central Scotland from Perth to Abington and Glasgow to Edinburgh. As one of the largest equine veterinary practices in Scotland, they take pride in providing 24/7 care for all types of horses, ponies, and donkeys. Facilities have stabling for up to 11 horses, an outdoor menage and field, a large examination area with non-slip floor for routine examinations and custom-made stocks for endoscopy, reproductive examinations, dental work, and standing surgery.
Lanarkshire offers beautiful Scottish landscapes, a great market town with beautiful boutiques and a good sense of community; perfect for young families and people wanting to live somewhere on the quieter side. Contrastingly, if you enjoy busier cities, Edinburgh or Glasgow are easily commutable within 60 minutes’ drive, and Edinburgh airport within 30 miles!
