Our client in Essex is looking for an experienced Vet to join their team.
You will be joining two other Vets with 25 years of combined experience. Expanding their team from 2.5 FTE to 3 FTE Vets.
Candidates must be willing to work 37.5 hours per week, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Covering a mixture of both consults and surgery, experience required, surgical bias desired. There is no out of hours.
The rota will be as follows:
Monday 9-7 float morning/cons evening
Tuesday Day off
Wednesday 8.30-6.30 ops/cons from 4pm
Thursday 8.30-6.30 ops/cons from 4pm
Friday 9-4.30 cons morning/float afternoon
Saturday mornings 9-1 on a 1:3 rota
Please note the practice is officially open 9-6.30 Mon-Fri and 9-12.30 Sat. The last consult is at 6pm during the week.
The practice is designed to ensure very little admin/general faffing. For example, dental estimate sheets can simply be given to client when recommending dental without producing an estimate from scratch, drug weight bands listed on PMS so no need to look them up.
They have the friendliest reception team and a strong nursing team consisting of four RVNs, one SVN (in her second year) and one VCA.
