My client in Bristol has an unmissable opportunity for a Deputy Head or Senior Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team. A well-established practice where some of the staff have worked since its doors opened!
The practice is supported by a fantastic team, who are all committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community. They operate a Just Culture and have a great team spirit and through this have enabled a “proud to be part of the team” work ethos.
The nurse team utilise their skills to their full potential, taking and processing blood samples, catheters, stich ups, dental scale and polishes, x-rays and monitoring anaesthetics, nurse clinics and in-patient care.
This fantastic opportunity would suit an experienced RVN looking to take the next step in their career or a skilled Senior Nurse looking for a new challenge and career progression, with a great team. If you see yourself as a role model and someone that can drive and support a small nursing team whilst improving practice standards and coaching new talent, I think this is the role for you.
Due to the nature of this role, They are looking for their new colleague to work full time hours ideally, including a 1 in 5 weekend rota. Primarily though they are looking for a colleague who will get involved and inspire, so if the hours aren’t quite right, They would still love to hear from you.
The benefits:
• In addition to a highly rewarding role, you can also expect to receive:
• Competitive salary up to £30,000 DOE
• No out of hours
• 5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays (pro rata), increasing with service
• Paid professional memberships including RCVS and VDS
• Dedicated CPD allowance
• Life assurance 4 x annual salary
• Contributory pension scheme
• Colleague reward hub – exclusive offers and discounts online and on the high street.
If you are looking to take the next step in you career, please get in touch with an up to date CV!!
