Our client is a busy small animal practice based in Chippenham; Wiltshire is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team. Their training practice has a nursing team of 3; 1 HVN and 2 RVNS.
This is ideally a full-time position, but the hours can be flexible to suit the right candidate. There are no out-of-hours or on-call duties, but it will include a weekend rota that is shared between the team.
They pride themselves on having a friendly, affable, but professional team. They have a varied caseload, which includes soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and a visiting ultrasonography specialist. The nurses run a wide variety of popular clinics in practice, including puppy parties. They are lucky to have a loyal client base, of which most are insured.
Our modern surgery has state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, V-Gels, capnography and an in-house laboratory. Our excellent facilities allow our clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus of high clinical standard; this also includes a full support team of receptionists, a VCA, an evening/weekend kennel assistant and a part-time practice manager.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude. You must be able to work well independently, as well as part of a team within our busy practice. We are looking for somebody who has excellent communication skills, who is keen to deliver clinical excellence, with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
