This is a really exciting opportunity to work with one of the biggest well known 1st opinion teaching hospitals in the country. They currently have two RVN roles available, exotic and small animal. Please see the below details.
The role
**You will be working in all aspects of hospital nursing. Wards, theatre, nurse clinics, dispensary along with some offsite shelter work supporting a local charity with rehoming of cats and dogs.
**35 hours per week
**Monday – Friday shifts range between 8am-9:30pm, they do have a team of nurses already working until 9:30pm so you will not have to cover many.
Weekends are 1:6 with time off in lieu the following week.
**They do have some on call. Generally, 1 in 10 as both a 1st and 2nd on call. The on call is not open to the general public so you are only used to cover sickness or if an inpatient requires emergency care. I have been advised that call outs are very few and far between.
**Shared bank holidays.
**For the exotic role you will need previous exotic experience.
