My client in Bristol is on the lookout for an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic RVN to come and join their team.
As this is a head nurse position, ideally you will be a Head or Senior level RVN who has great communication and organisation skills as well as a great sense of drive and commitment to offering the best patient care. You will be able motivate a team to achieve their personal and professional goals. You will be confident with all general nursing duties (including running nurse clinics) and ideally you will have experience of coaching and mentoring student nurses.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours a week working a mix of early and late shifts with your fair share of surgery and consults. The role will include only 1 in 3 Saturday morning clinics and no OOH!
They offer a supportive and friendly working environment where you can learn and develop your skills. You will be joining a clinical team of 5 vets (2 full time, 3 part time) as well as working alongside 2.5 RVN's and 2 SVN's. Their client care team is made up of 3 receptionists and a practice manager.
They are a stand-alone practice with their own in house lab, digital radiography (incl dental), ultrasound, large theatre, spacious (and separate) kennels, cattery and isolation wards.
