Dan's client in North London are currently looking to recruit a new permanent Head Nurse.
This role would be suitable for a Registered Vet Nurse looking to develop their management skills or a current Head Vet Nurse looking for a change.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team and Branch Manager. As a Head Vet Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing the practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice. You will also assist in the training of the Patient Care Assistants.
The role is 40 hours per week with a 1 in 6 weekend rota at the local 24-hour hospital, as well as a fair (yet small) share of Bank Holidays and on-call duties.
