My client in Blackpool is on the search for a RVN to join their amazing team!

If you want to make a difference and join an amazing organisation, you will be a qualified nurse who enjoys working as part of a large and supportive team providing consistent, quality care to both clients and their pets. You will be involved in consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications and assisting in theatre including schedule 3 surgery. There are so many opportunities to get involved and develop your skills!

To succeed, you will have a positive, can-do attitude, be confident in communicating with a wide range of clients and, of course, have a sense of humour to get through the tough days. They also believe in developing talent across the full range of clinical practice so a willingness to share your skills and lead by example is essential.

Your passion for what they do will drive you to champion the charity and always keep an eye on resources suggesting efficiencies wherever possible. They really do listen and believe they are better together.

The work is fast-paced and challenging so they work hard to ensure that you have the work life balance that suits your needs as well as enabling them to deliver an outstanding service.

Blackpool is in the North west of England. It has miles of beach and promenade to walk on as well as multiple parks, a zoo, and a nature reserve. There are many opportunities to partake in multiple activities and many places to dine out and socialise. The Lake District is just over an hour's drive away and we have great transport links to London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool.

The hospital is a purpose-built single site practice with digital x-ray among other great equipment. They have a high and interesting case load, both medical and surgical. You will be supported by an experienced, knowledgeable team that is passionate about the value their work brings to the local community.

Shifts are 9.00am until 5.30 pm during the week. There is no out of hours working, and Saturday day working in limited to 1 in 6 (with time off the following week). Work-life balance is very important to them, so they are happy to explore flexible working opportunities.

They understand the importance of personal growth and are passionate about development. This means different things to different people so you will have regular line manager meetings to ensure your personal plan is tailor made. They want to support their employees on this journey, whether it be developing clinical skills, or working towards management goals.

Benefits
• Average 9.00-5.30 day with breaks.
• 22.5- 30 hours a week
• Salary up to £27k DOE
• 25 days holiday per year (pro rata) with options to buy and sell holiday
• Paid Bank Holidays
• Annual wellbeing day
• Contributory pension scheme
• CPD of 2 days and £500 per year
• Wide range of staff discounts

They are a great career choice for those who want to spend their time caring for animals and promoting responsible pet ownership. So, if you're ready for a challenge and would like to work for one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Non Profit organisations, I look forward to talking to you.
