We are looking for a candidate who has a real passion for clinical excellence and would like to work in a practice with a varied caseload to join this team.
The role will involve you working as part of a busy team, reporting to the Head Vet. You will be ensuring clinical protocols are delivered and maintained.
The role is 37 hours across 4 days, with a 1.5:7 weekend rota. (one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and one separate full Saturday). There is however no out of hours.
The practice has multiple sites, focusing on small animals and pets. One site is a 24-hour emergency hospital, which is well-equipped to deal with a large range of operations from routine neutering to exploratory laparotomies.
The team consists of 15 Vets, 25 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) / Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) and Patient Care Assistants (PCAs). With 4 Vets studying towards a certificate including surgery, AVP and exotics.
They can offer great support from the experienced veterinary surgeons to cover most disciplines, including a large exotics caseload, with appropriate equipment for those interested. Plus, a comprehensive range of orthopaedic and ophthalmic equipment could be available in the development of these disciplines.
