Are you looking to take a step up in your career? Our client is looking for a Lead Vet to join their team.
The role is 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days. There is a 1 in 5 /6 Saturday rota, however no out of hours or on-call.
The role would ideally suit someone with surgical bias/orthopaedic interest, although all interests are welcomed.
Candidates must have excellent clinical, communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
Candidates should have some experience in a leadership role, and the ability to understand and interpret financial performance.
The largest site is a busy, purpose-built practice offering a varied and exciting caseload. The practice is well equipped with Laparoscopy, ultrasound, flexible endoscopy, ophthalmic surgical microscope, dental x-ray, in-house lab and much more. The other branches also offer light and spacious working environments with ultrasound, digital x-ray, operating theatres, lab machines and separate dog/cat wards.
The team is made up of several certificate holders including 1 x medicine, 1 x surgery 2 x ophthalmology, with a further 5 Vets studying towards medicine, feline, and surgery certificates. The vets are supported by a team of 20 RVNs, multiple PCAs, students and a fantastic client care team.
