Various Permanent Vet Roles Available in Middlesex – Lead Vet & Assistant Vet

These roles are within a reputable 8-site independent practice based in Middlesex. There is 15 Vets working across the branches with a range of experience including certificate holders in Surgery, Dermatology). Candidates applying for these roles must have 2-3 years UK experience.

Role 1: Full Time Lead Vet
Our client is in need of a full time Vet Surgeon to lead their largest branch surgery in Middlesex. The role is 4 days per week at the branch, with the opportunity to spend time at the main hospital if wanted. There is 1 late shift per week (until 9.30pm) and evening duties, weekends and Saturday mornings are on a rota basis.
You will be working in a 2-Vet team, with 1 RVN and 2 SVNs to assist. The branch is well-equipped with kennel facilities, large operating theatre, dental equipment, digital / dental radiography, ultrasound, etc. They also have use of the in-house lab, endoscopy, CT scanner, etc. at the hospital practice if required.

Role 2: Assistant Vet Surgeon
Our client is looking for a full time assistant Vet Surgeon to join them working 4 days per week with a fixed day off each week. The shifts are 8.30am – 7pm, 1 in 9 evening rota until 9.30pm. There is also a shared weekend rota.
You will be working to cover consultations and surgeries at branches, inpatient care and non routine procedures at the main site, etc.
You must be confident working sole charge at certain branches, with dedicated professional teams at others.

Whilst recruiting the practice are looking for a locum ongoing. Accommodation is available, however you must have your own transport to travel between the branches. 4 days per week, 8.30am – 7pm but days / hours could be negotiated. You will be based at a branch and mainly working sole charge covering ops and consults (consult only considered).
