Permanent Vet Required at small, independent practice in Norfolk

Our client in Norfolk requires a permanent vet to join their small, independent family run practice starting in May 2020. Duties include routine operations and consultations and whilst the majority of the work the practice does is small animal, it is also an exotics referral practice. So whilst an interest in exotics isn’t essentially, it would be advantageous. The role is full time, 4 days a week, shifts are 08:30-18:30. One week in 4 you will be required to work the Friday night on call (though these are usually fairly quiet), then the Saturday and the Sunday daytimes. The practice is well equipped and purpose built and they do have accommodation you can stay in whilst working on-call. Salary is DOE as well as generous CPD funding and BUPA cover after six months of employment. Vets at the practice will occasionally help cover at the local RSPCA centre, consults only. Our client requires candidates to have 18 months/2 years experience if they’re qualified in the UK but if they’re qualified outside of the UK, you must have at least 2/3 years of experience working in the UK.
