Jenna’s client, a reputable small animal practice in Wiltshire, is in search of a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time basis.
The practice is seeking a candidate to work a 4-day week consisting of 35 hours, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am-4pm with no OOHs, on call or sole charge required.
In addition to this, the practice closes an hour prior to the end of the late shift to ensure the team finishes on time.
There will be a dedicated nurse for every shift and plenty of help available when needed to write notes, put up meds and much more. There is also devoted shift times for inpatients and emergencies to ensure you don’t have to work around your day-to-day tasks.
The team is made up of 11 Vets (a mixture of experienced and new graduate), 26 Nurses and a reception team. Priding themselves on supporting and providing ongoing development. This year the practice launched its first Klinic conference with well-established speakers across nursing streams, this is free for staff and time back off the rota is provided for anyone in attendance.
The practice is a sizable, purpose-built, modern facility. The design is built around a glass prep room providing visual evidence of their open approach, there is also an array of state-of-the-art equipment such as dental radiography, laparoscopy and full IDEXX laboratory. There are great links to the motorway.
In return for your services, the practice is willing to offer a salary ranging from £40-65k (dependant on experience) and 7 weeks of annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
