SV251339
Lacey’s Client in Somerset is seeking a Full or Part-time Vet to join their practice, full of supportive and positive colleagues.
• Competitive salary, based on experience but regularly reviewed.
• Open to applications for full or part-time hours.
• Shifts are 9am-7pm
• 1 in 3 weekends
• No out-of-hours
• Your rota will be fixed, predictable and designed in partnerships with you.
This practice was purpose built in 2008 and has been run by their Clinical Director ever since. It has been continuously improved over the years, with the recent addition of a dedicated quiet room for you to research cases, make phone calls or to use on lunch breaks. They also regularly invest in new and upgraded equipment, enabling the team to undertake both medical and surgical cases in-house to an advanced level. If successful, you will be provided with both breadth and depth of case exposure, supported by all colleagues.
Their current team consists of highly capable and very approachable Vets, an ample nursing team, a full reception team, insurance administrator, and a dedicated practice manager. They like to avoid desperately filling vacancies but instead carefully cultivate a team who work well together, share mutual respect, and genuinely enjoy each other’s company! They’re welcoming whatever stage of your career you’re at. With a proved track record of developing confident and competent new graduates.
As well as providing effective clinical and pastoral support, your benefits will include:
• A routine you can rely upon
• Payment of professional fees
• A flexible CPD budget to help you and the practice grow together
• A great range of discounts and rewards
• A sensible work:life balance, facilitating a successful working relationship.
• Central location and ample parking, with easy access from M5 or A370.
The successful candidate for this position must be a vet surgeon with a positive career approach, looking for a sustainable position in which they can thrive, and who can recognise the personal and professional benefits of being part of an inclusive team.
If you are looking to work somewhere that will appreciate your years of experience, or for a second chance at a great start to your career, please contact Lacey now!
