Are you an experienced, enthusiastic Vet with a passion for surgery? Our client is looking to recruit a Vet to lead the surgical aspect of work at their hospital.
Candidates must be confident in surgery or have a surgical certificate. You will be responsible for more complex surgical cases including orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. You will also be responsible for establishing new procedures to grow your personal skill set and the business, aiming to continuously improve patient care and care quality and teaching less experienced vets.
There is an already large team at the hospital with many areas of interest including imaging and surgery, therefore there is lots of support and guidance.
The practice is a busy Primary Care, small animal practice, RCVS accredited, with 2 branch surgeries.
Your duties will include:
**Building the surgical caseload & looking for continuous ways to improve
**Performing high quality surgery
**Working closely with the Lead Vet and Senior Leadership team
**Ensuring consistently high service
