PDSA Middlesbrough Seeks Senior Vet Surgeon

The PDSA are looking to recruit a Senior Veterinary Surgeon (SVS) who will lead the Pet hospital team, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst promoting pet wellbeing, delivering preventive services and treating sick and injured pets of eligible clients.

This role will mean you are the line managers to the Head Nurse and Veterinary Surgeons and will lead and develop the clinical team to efficiently manage the day-to-day workflow through the hospital.

You will be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance at the hospital, managing income and clinical expenditure; including treatment costs at hospital level and making sure that PDSA resources are used in a cost effective manner.

You must be a multi faceted RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with a track record that includes practice and people management. You will need to be able to demonstrate outstanding communication, leadership and organisational skills and have a flexible approach.
