Our client recognises the importance of excellent work-life balance, especially for vets working anti-social hours - they have designed a sustainable rota to allow this: 13 hour shifts with scheduled breaks, 12 shifts in 28 days.
The shift number in a 28 day period can be negotiated subject to the candidate’s requirements.
The candidate needs to be passionate about providing a high level of care for our patients and a premium service for our clients. In addition, the candidate needs to be able to efficiently investigate cases to a high standard and have a medical mind-set, as well as being competent with emergency surgeries sole-charge.
Good communication and personal skills are essential and the candidate will be encouraged to maintain continuity with clients and able to see cases through to a conclusion. Although experience in emergency care is preferred this is not essential and we would consider recent graduate with a strong passion for this discipline.
In return, they can offer a fantastic remuneration package:
- Salary £35,000-55,000 subject to experience and certificate/advanced practitioner status.
- Equivalent of 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
- £1500 per year CPD budget to enable you to fulfil relevant training.
- Support for a certificate available if required, and training agreements considered.
- RCVS, VDS and BVA subscriptions.
- Director and management support always available.
