Large Vet Practice in Kent Seeks Vet Surgeon

My client are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Dover. They are a large practice who specialise in small animal, exotics and Zoo work.

4 days per week (9am-7pm) plus 1 in 5 weekends, including on-call requirement for Zoo work (Friday evening (7pm) until Monday morning (9am)). This would be a full time position, but they could also offer a 1 year fixed term contract for someone or even part time/flexible working patterns. Working The role would suit someone with experience in small animal and who has interest in zoo work and exotics as both these can be trained or someone with experience in all 3. The practice has excellent facilities, brilliant nursing staff and a friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity for those wanting to consolidate their skills in domestic species, whilst expanding their knowledge of more unusual patients.

This role will be based mostly at the main practice. However, there will be some consulting duties at other local branches (only 10-15 minutes away).

Salary & Benefits:
**A very competitive package of up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

**£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training
