Jenna's client in East Sussex is looking to recruit a Senior Vet to join their team.
The role is full time working 36 hours per week, working 8am - 8pm.
The responsibilities with this role include:
**Assess cases and implement preventative, diagnostic and treatment plans as appropriate
**Work closely with colleagues
**Ensure practice protocols are followed
**To ensure the clinical team maintains regular communication with clients regarding case progress and clients are advised of case costs and informed consent is given
**Ensure records are kept complete and up to date
**Liaise with staff at charities and rescue centres with regard to providing veterinary care for their animals
**To delegate tasks
**To mentor and support junior vets
**General Veterinary Surgeon tasks
Candidates applying for this role must be professional, have excellent customer skills, be able to show empathy, be a team player, have good time management skills and be confident in their own abilities.
Skills/Qualifications required
• MRCVS
• ECC / internal medicine qualification or working towards
• Confident with diagnostic imaging (xrays, US +/- CT)
• Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
• Able to prioritise work based on clinical priority and importance
• A proven problem solver
• Attention to detail in all aspects of role – consistently produces work to the highest standard.
