An exciting position has become available with a friendly, first opinion, small animal hospital in Nottinghamshire.
They are looking to recruit a permanent member of staff to start ASAP but will consider a locum on a rolling rota basis from the middle of August, however, OOH's and weekend contribution would be essential.
You must have at least a years' experience either small animal or mixed practice, allowing you to be comfortable with routine neutering and basic consults they are happy to teach and support with more advanced procedures and and help you when working up complicated cases.
An interest in ECC work is desirable but not essential my client would like someone who is confident with the idea of running a night shift alongside RVNs, stabilising and managing emergencies and inpatients - while they are happy to assist with challenging cases if needed, they are looking for someone who can step into this rota without delay.
This package offers a starting salary from £35,000 with unlimited CPD allowance and VDS membership. There is a bonus scheme for OOH work and 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays. They also offer a 4 week paid sabbatical after every 3 years continuous employment, to be used as you see fit.
