This reputable, independent practice in North West Wales is looking to recruit a Clinical Director to join their team. The role will be taking over from the previous CD who is retiring.
Candidates applying for this role must have good management and leadership skills, be able to provide excellent client care, work cases up to a high standard and have great communication skills.
The role has a varied caseload, with a mix of the standard procedures (e.g. vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, dentals, X-ray interpretation, pregnancy diagnosis with ultrasound, etc.), to more specialist services and treatments (e.g. chemotherapy, echocardiograms, ECG, video endoscope, advanced surgeries, etc.)
The role itself is 40 hours / 4 days per week, Monday to Friday with a shared weekend rota. There is no emergency out of hours, however inpatient care is covered by the practice. This means you must be able to take part in the evening/weekend inpatient rota.
This is the ideal opportunity for both experienced Clinical Directors and Vets who are looking to take the next step up in their career.
The practice is 100% small animal and well-equipped to deal with patients, they have a modern IDEXX in-house laboratory (catalyst and procyte), digital AGFA CR X-ray, video endoscope and bronchoscope, colour Doppler ultrasound with ECG, slit lamp and more.
The team consists of two Veterinary Surgeons, two dedicated Nurses (one Student Nurse), and a Practice Manager.
In return you will receive many fantastic benefits including a competitive salary (up to £85,000 DOE), 7.6 weeks annual leave, birthday leave, private medical insurance, enhanced mat/paternity / adoption/ surrogacy’s, etc. leave, cycle to work scheme, £1250 / 5 days CPD leave, BVA / VDA / RCVS fees paid, pension contribution, and so much more!
