Our client is looking for an experienced “procedures-biased” Vet to join them in their busy practice.
The role is full time working 40 hours per week, typically over a 4-day week. Vets usually work a mixture of shifts (7.30am-6pm, 8.30am-7pm and 9.30am-8pm). Everyone contributes to the daytime weekend rota TOIL (time off in lieu) is returned for working weekends, and everyone is expected to contribute to the bank holiday rota, and to any on-call where necessary. Weekend/bank holiday working will be daytimes only and from one of the 24hr hospitals, during these shifts Vets will be providing veterinary in-patient care and a seeing new emergency cases.

The practice offers a wide range of quality services from routine consultations and emergency care through to complex surgery and management of critical cases.
They have an Advanced Practitioner vet who provides referral level surgery, including orthopaedics such as TPLOs and soft tissue surgeries including BOAS.
They have seen the exciting development and growth of their new referral service in ophthalmology, success with their new hydrotherapy centre under rehabilitation, and the successful implementation of their new CT Scanner and service!
There is a negotiable salary from £45,000.00-£65,000.00 negotiable depending on experience/AP status/certificates, 7 weeks’ holiday, including bank holidays, Enhanced family-friendly policies, Employee discount scheme, Occupational health including mental health support and more.
