My client are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and thoughtful team, who strive to offer the best standards of care to their clients and their pets. They do all of the routine surgeries plus orthopaedic ops.
The practice have been open for 8 years and have an ultrasound, in house lab and x-ray. They also convert the x-ray room into a euthanasia room so that it is more comfortable and not so clinical for those difficult times.
Their current team consists of 2 full time vets, 5 qualified nurses, 1 VCA and 4 receptionists. They are very friendly and bubbly team, always making time for each other to ensure a great working environment and team morale.
They are seeking a veterinary surgeon with minimum 2 years’ experience who is confident, friendly, and enthusiastic with great communication skills. You'll have good general small animal surgical and medical abilities and a desire to learn and improve. They can offer you a varied caseload, and you should be flexible and work well under pressure.
The position is a full-time role working 40 hours a week including 1:3 weekends but NO OOHs. Flexible working options are also open for discussion to find something to work around you and your life commitments. (i.e. school hours/part time etc)
