This well-established small animal Vet practice based in Devon is looking to recruit a Vet Surgeon, with a locum required in the meantime.
The practice has a very close-knit team, and it is independently owned. This means that they have complete clinical freedom, focusing on quality work other than quantity.
There is an average of 12 consults per Vet a day, with a team of 2 Vets, 4 Nurses, 1SVN, 2 VCAs, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Manager.
Candidates must have good all round GP knowledge, ideally with a surgical bias.
The role is full time, working 8.30am - 4.30pm or 11am - 7.30pm, 5 days per week. There is no out of hours and dedicated admin time. Part time hours will be considered. There is a 1 in 4 weekend rota with time off in lieu.
In return permanent candidates will receive RCVS membership, professional indemnity, BVA membership all paid. Other memberships paid on request. Pension scheme, private health care, retail bonuses and more. Healthy CPD budget, with previous employees completing certificates in their area of interest and more.
Locum candidates will be offered a competitive daily rate.
