This reputable small animal practice in West Yorkshire is growing and therefore they are looking to recruit a Vet with a keen interest in dentistry to drive their dental service.
Duties would involve promoting dental work and education in the practice, supporting the development of RVNs and other vets, carrying out dental work to a high standard and building their client education presence in this area. They have early stages of a dental referral service so are looking for a candidate to support with this. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic vet to develop a special area of interest. Studying for certificates is encouraged.
The hours are 4-day weeks, with 1:4 weekends with an extra day off following. There is however no OOH’s.
The hospital is supported by five branch clinics. They have a large, friendly, welcoming team that enjoys bringing fun into the workplace.
The facilities and equipment are excellent and include:
• An amazing team of supportive, dedicated, caring professionals
• Full imaging suite including Xray, multiple ultrasound scanners and onsite CT
• 4 theatres with dedicated surgical nursing team and certificate holder led service
• Dental suite with X-ray, referral level equipment.
• Rigid/flexible endoscopy including laparoscopy
• Excellent in patient facilities with separate dog/cat/exotic and day/long stay wards plus ICU and onsite lab with dedicated technician (Haem/biochem/coags/EPOC)
• Separate dog/cat waiting areas and 7 consult rooms
