Working with the RSPCA!

Posted by & filed under News.

The purpose of the RSPCA is to end cruelty, promote kindness and to alleviate animals suffering.  Their hospitals are open 365 days a year. They have multiple Wards to keep animals separate, and cover a variety of different cases from routine work to orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. They also run nurse clinics on a daily basis.

We work closely with them to find the right people to fill their roles and maintain a stable staffing level to ensure they are able to meet their purpose and treat all patients.

As one of the very few agencies that work with the RSPCA to support their Recruitment needs, we have a thorough understanding of the roles involved at their Hospitals. The RSPCA employs lots of people across the country and in lots of different types of jobs, the people we are directly involved with include:

  • VETERINARY SURGEON – Consulting and operating, on a daily basis. Making decisions on the best techniques to diagnose and treat all patients.
  • VETERINARY NURSE – In this role the emphasis is on nursing, to utilise their extensive skills, including daily schedule 3 work, with minimal admin and reception work.
  • Hospital and clinic assistant – Their job is to support the Vets and Vet Nurses with; nursing duties, cleaning duties, maintain medical records, restocking, dispensing drugs, billing, taking payments and phone duties.
