Do you have an interest in medicine and oncology?
My client is looking for locum cover between now and the beginning of May.
This may be for ad hoc shifts covering those in which we are really short or for a 40 hour week for the full period (Monday-Friday) should ad hoc cover not be suitable.
The role involves the monitoring of sedation and anaesthesia in medical and oncology patients presenting for diagnostic imaging, endoscopy and other medical procedures, blood sampling, IV catheter placement, emergency and critical care as well as the assistance in the administration of chemotherapy (they would not be expected to administer this themselves). Some inpatient care as required.
The shift pattern is normally variable on a 5 week rotation but can be decided in conjunction with appropriate applicants.
