My client in Portsmouth is looking to recruit a full or part-time Qualified Veterinary Nurse (VN) who will provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst promoting pet wellbeing, supporting Veterinary Surgeons to deliver preventive services and to treat sick and injured pets of eligible clients.
To succeed, you will have a positive, can-do attitude, be confident in communicating with a wide range of clients and, of course, have a sense of humour to get through the tough days. They also believe in developing talent across the full range of clinical practice so a willingness to share your skills and lead by example is essential.
Working as part of a team that supports in theatre, provides inpatient care, and carries out consults, admissions and discharges, their Veterinary Nurses are also involved in dispensing medication, encouraging financial contributions from clients, and maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the hospital and equipment.
Depending on the needs of the hospital they have Veterinary Nurses working both full and part time hours, with opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.
They can also offer great benefits which include (pro-rata for part-time roles):
• CPD of 2 days and £500 per year
• Up to £26,076pa Pro Rata
• Opportunity to perform Schedule 3 surgery with full training and support encouraged
