A small animal practice based in West Sussex (with two smaller satellite branches) is in need of an ongoing locum RVN to start ASAP (cover between branches is sometimes required).
You will be required to work 37.5hr week (on average) with 1 in 5 weekends (no OOHs) and 1 in 7 Saturday mornings. There is no OOH as this is outsourced to another practice with phone lines being diverted at 7pm.
An average weekly rota would consist of the below:-
2-10:30pm (Inpatient care)
7:30am-2:30pm (Inpatient care)
8-6:30pm (Theatre shift)
10am-8pm (Prep shift)
DAY OFF
They have Saturday morning appointments (8am-12pm) with a nurse working 8am until 2pm. Inpatient care is divided between the vet and the nurse. This shift is currently run on a 1 in 5 basis.
They also have a Saturday morning shift (1 in 7) this is a 7:30-2pm shift and involves inpatient care and assisting during clinic hours.
