An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive team in Liverpool!

My client boasts that no two days will be the same, some duties will include: Nurse consultations, nursing and monitoring inpatients, anaesthetics, schedule 3 procedures. They have a talented team of receptionists, so reception cover is rare.
• The rota includes working 4 days per week (three 10-hour days, one 7.5-hour day, one day off).
• One in three Saturday mornings are required with time off in lieu during the week for these hours.
• No out of hours or on call and no bank holidays. Flexible hours considered.

The salary for this role is up to £29,000 depending on experience.

They have two branches which offer a nursing team with varying experience. They also have a very hard working SVN, 2 superb VCA's and amazing, dedicated receptionists. They have 5 fantastic vets with experience ranging from new graduate to 34 years in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, emergency inpatient care and acupuncture to name a few. They often have visiting specialists who perform cardiac work ups, ultrasonography, and soft tissue surgeries.

They are passionate about preventative health and their RVN's play a vital role in promoting this and educating their clients to provide the best care for their pets in the form of nursing consultations to include 2nd Vaccines, behaviour clinics, weight clinics, geriatric clinics and much more! They have numerous loyal clients.

They have General Practice accreditation with RCVS Practice Standards and wish to become ISFM Cat Friendly accredited in the near future. As a group they have a passion for making their patients' visits as positive and free from stress as much as possible. They have 3 consulting rooms including a dedicated nurse's room along with Digital X rays, multiparameter, ECG, ultrasound, Idexx lab machines and tonometry. One of the clinics has excellent transport links and onsite parking.

They have 5 veterinary surgeons, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCA and 3 receptionists. They pride themselves in working at one team, despite being split between 2 branches. Their team enjoy socialising together outside of work and raising money for charities such as VetLife. Last year, they walked 1 million steps together to raise money for this charity. They also work closely with Boote Home for Cats (a local cat rescue).

Previous experience in the role desired although finding the perfect fit for the team is more important to us than experience. Must be RCVS registered. Full, clean driver's license preferred but not essential.

They recognise that their people are fundamental to the success of the business. Investing in the people, premises and processes is at the heart of what they do. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will benefit from -
