Our client, a reputable small animal practice in Essex, is looking to recruit a Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This role will mean you are responsible or supporting the Veterinary Surgeons by guiding a team of Registered Veterinary Nurses and/or Veterinary Care Assistants and delivering exceptional care within the practice.
You must be capable with the following:
**Manage day to day performance
**Ensure a high quality service is provided to clients and patients
**Ensure all regulations and policies are followed correctly
**Ensure the nursing staff are aware of their roles/job description and have clear objectives
**Carry out performance reviews
**Rota management
**General nursing
The role is full time working 40 hours per week with a shared 1 in 4 weekend rota.
