An exciting opportunity has arisen at a small animal practice that i am working with in Salisbury, they are currently looking for a dedicated Head Nurse.
Led by the owner and head vet they can offer a fantastic location working with an amazing team made up of 2 vets, nurses, VCA's all supported by a practice manager and a team of receptionists. You will also be working with state of the art equipment as we offer surgical procedures, dental, digital x-ray, ultrasound, with some in house lab testing facilities.
By joining the team you will have the opportunity to use your leadership and nursing skills to your full potential {overseeing a team running nurse clinics, taking and processing blood samples, catheters, x-rays, monitoring anaesthetics and more}.
You will work with the practice owner/head vet and the practice manager to continue to develop the practice and provide assistance where needed to achieve the goals, including the practice standards accreditation in 2022.
This is a full-time position within the practice working 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri with shared Saturday rotas. Their nurses currently work one in four with a Monday off following a Saturday shift.
Salary: £30k - £32k commensurate with experience
Hours: Full time hours (mon – fri) with one weekend in four (though currently only open until 4pm on Saturdays and closed Sundays at present). No OOH or emergency work.
