My Client in Bristol is looking for a permanent Head RVN to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role offered is 40 hours per week, with 1 in 4 weekends, shifts can be either 8 or 10hrs, they are open to discussion and are happy to accommodate a pattern that suits you.
No OOH or sole charge will be required! They can offer you a competitive salary depending on your experience, this is in the region of £32-35kpa
To apply you must enjoy leading a team and managing your RVNs and VCA’s in practice. As a training practice they are looking for someone that is happy to assist with the recruitment of the nursing team as well as being a clinical coach, training a junior nurse and supporting any new students in practice.
You will be competent on monitoring anaesthesia on all surgical procedures, run in-house lab samples, able to perform Schedule 3 procedures, admit & discharge their in-patients; do nurse consultations confidently and prioritise patient welfare and care. You will control the stock management within the practice, ensure they stay on top of the practice health & safety and RCVS compliance. You will also have the opportunity do nurse clinics or puppy parties if you wish.
You must have a good work ethic, be punctual, reliable, good organisational skills, be computer literate, good people skills, excellent phone manners and good communication skills are also essential as you will be mixing both internally with the team and externally with our clients and other professionals.
