I have a client who has opened up a brand new hospital in Cardiff and is looking for a permanent RVN to join their team!
They are made up of 4 branches and 1 hospital, they are ideally looking for a very experienced RVN who can join and hit the ground running who will be based at the main hospital. They have OOH and weekends but these are not essential to cover due to having their own OOH team, however to bump up the salary they would be happy to offer extra hours covering OOH and weekends for anyone who would like to! They are a very friendly practice and promote a healthy work life balance so they are happy to offer flexible hours, whether that be 3 days a week with 1 Saturday or 5 days a week no weekends they will always cater for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will need to have good experience in all aspects of nursing and be confident in doing so. You will mainly be dealing with complex emergency cases and surgeries as well as being competent in using high tech equipment that they provide at the practice. They have a large team on hand to help with training and day to day questions but on the other hand you will be expected to work independently when needed.
Salary and package wise will range anywhere from £25k-£32k depending on experience, hours and days a week worked. You wouldn't be expected to work OOH or weekends but if you are aiming for a higher salary then an arrangement can be made to do so!
