My client have a well established Small Animal practice on the outskirts of Southampton, where they have been serving the local community for the past 14 years. They are currently seeking to expand their nursing team with another RVn from January 2025.
About the practice:
The practice hosts a purpose built building with state of the art equipment and facilities.
Their existing team of 4 Vets, 5 Nurses and 5 receptionists share a passion for animal and the service that they deliver to all of their clients and patients.
Easy access to Southampton, Winchester, and Portsmouth, with on-site parking available. For those that do not drive, there are also great transport links.
Who they are looking for:
An experienced or newly qualified RVN. Being a clinical coach or an interest in working towards this will be beneficial, but not essential.
Looking to use your nursing skills to their full potential, including schedule 3 tasks, taking and processing blood samples, placing catheters, taking x-rays and monitoring anaesthetics, running nurse clinics and delivering excellent in-patient care. Along with other interests and duties encouraged!
The role:
Ideally full-time ( 39.25 hours a week), with flexibility on what shifts you will cover and if you need some flexible hours, they are also happy to find a solution that fits your lifestyle.
Only 1:4 Saturday mornings (9am – 12pm) paid as overtime or TOIL.
No OOHs, no Sundays and no bank holidays!
