Our client in East Sussex are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dual Head Nurse to lead their nursing teams over two branches. This unique position offers the opportunity to shape and influence the quality of veterinary care across two dynamic practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the nursing teams at both practices, ensuring high standards of care.
• Oversee clinical operations, including surgical and medical nursing care.
• Mentor and support junior nurses and veterinary assistants.
• Implement and maintain best practices and protocols in line with RCVS standards.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Manage nursing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations.
• Facilitate communication between the two practices to promote consistency and efficiency.
They are a very kind, friendly and fun team that offers clients and patients the highest standard of care. The 5 vets offer a wealth of experience with several certificate holders including surgery, cardiology, medicine. They have a team of 5 dedicated Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, plus 8 Support team members.
You will need:
• Minimum of 5 years' RVN experience.
• Previous leadership or management experience within a veterinary practice.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient and client care.
• Willingness to split time and responsibilities between the two practices.
