Clinical Nursing Manager Role Available in West Yorkshire

This reputable small animal Vet Hospital is looking to recruit a Clinical Nursing Manager to join their forward thinking, faced paced hospital on a full time basis.

This role is 40 hours per week, with a large amount of administrative duties, and requires 1 in 4 weekends. It would be appreciated if you would be able to cover the occasional night shift. Hours will be between 8.30am – 8.30pm on weekdays.

The team consists of 67 colleagues, that includes ECC, Medicine, Surgical & Dental Certificate holders in both our veterinary and nursing teams.

The practice has both a 24-hour OOH / Referral Hospital and a first opinion practice within the same site.

Your role will be:
**To organise the day/night nursing teams (15 RVN’s, 5 SVN’s (soon to grow to 9), 8 VCA’s)
**Drive colleagues to perform consistently high standards
**Hold monthly meetings and appraisals as appropriate.
**Encourage ongoing development
**Manage/comply with Health & Safety regulations. Work with the Hospital Manager to improve where necessary
**Provide excellent customer service
**Clinical role model within the practice
