My client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to work as part their our OOH Nursing team at their newly refurbished Tier 3 Small Animal Hospital in Cheshire. The practice has recently won an Award as the Best Vets in Cheshire.
You will work in a stimulating environment where facilities and equipment are excellent. The job holder will assist the OOH Veterinary Surgeon with emergencies to include assisting with diagnostics and surgery and will work closely with the inpatient night nurse. This will include care of both the first opinion and referral inpatients. The role is ideally suited to an RVN with post qualification experience.
Hours of work are based on working a permanent NIGHT shift which rotates 7 nights on and 7 nights off which averages 38.5 hours per week. This includes bank holidays and weekend working when they fall within the rota. The night team is made up of a Vet, 2 x RVN’s and an Animal Care Assistant
The salary is negotiable for the right candidate and can be discussed upon interview stage!
