The PDSA in Kent are currently recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon.
This role is available full-time 37.5 hours per week preferably, however part time hours will be considered.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct consultations, physical examinations, and surgeries on-site
• Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Provide remote consultations via telemedicine platforms, offering expert advice and guidance to pet owners.
The facilities are modern and well-equipped with inhouse radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, extensive orthopaedic equipment, separate dog and cat kennels and more.
The benefits of this role include:
• Salary - 44,888 - £58,969 (including allowances) per annum
• Full RCVS fees
• Range of internal CPD programmes ?
• CPD Allowance of one week and £1000 per year
• 25 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays) increasing each year after 2 years service up to 30 days - option to buy or sell additional holiday
• An additional Wellbeing Day and Celebration day to take whenever you like
• Generous Auto-Enrolment pension and/or Contributory pension schemes available up to 10%
