This reputable small animal Veterinary Hospital in Cardiff requires a Vet Surgeon permanently and one on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Ideally we are looking for a full time Vet, locums will be considered in the meantime (full or part time). There is an equally shared out of hours rota, as well as telephone consultations (this means candidates must have their own PC and a phone) and face-to-face consults and operating time.
The out of hours are 1 week night per 8 weekday nights worked, 5pm – 8am AND 1 weekend in 6 either 8am – 8pm OR 8pm – 8am (no work for 3 days after). The shifts will be 7.5 hours on weekdays. On average, including out of hours you will be limited to 37.5 hours per week.
The practice offers dedicated staff parking, communal outside space and staffroom.
