Jenna’s client is a reputable tier 3 Hospital in search of a full-time Veterinary Surgeon for a permanent role.
The practice is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join their expanding and thriving team of Vets and Nurses. This is a fun and full-on place to work and with plenty of opportunity to progress and develop further in your field.
The practice promotes and encourages study certificates with the hospital already having a large interest in orthopaedics, oncology and endoscopy.
The hospital has both hospital and ECC status, and are proud of the incredible facilities including CT Scanner, laparoscopy, oncology department, ultrasound, x-ray, oxygen chamber to name a few!
The details for this position are as follows;
• Certificate holders in emergency/critical care, advanced orthopaedics, advanced veterinary practice, endoscopy, endosurgery and diagnostic imaging. With colleagues studying certificates in dermatology, surgery, medicine, and computed tomography.
• Caseloads are 70% dogs, 30% cats and a moderate level of rabbits and small pets.
• Focus on career development with 4 days paid CPD- with no financial limit, certificates encouraged and paid for.
• New, recent and experienced graduates welcome.
• In-house mentoring following RCVS program.
• Average four-day week, shift pattern of three regular days every week and then every other weekend.
• No out of hours. As our OOH is covered in house by a dedicated night team.
• Part time positions available
• No lone working
