This practice is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join their team in South Australia, with full sponsorship and relocation package available.
This particular role is for a skilled anaesthetist, with a passion for patient care, who is competent in imparting their knowledge and expertise on.
It is a full time position with some rostered out of hours and weekend work required.
This role gives you the opportunity to teach into the DVM program and provide clinical service in the Hospital. The Hospital offers high quality first opinion and specialist referral services to the public. It also provides clinical training to final year Vets and Vet Tech students, under the supervision of experienced Vets, Nurses and Support Staff.
You will teach anaesthesiology across small and large animal species to the veterinary and veterinary technology students. You will have the opportunity to involve students in case management and model the highest standards of clinical excellence and professionalism in veterinary care.
The practice is modern and well-equipped with a range of services, ranging from first opinion, emergency and specialist referral veterinary services.
You must have a qualification in Veterinary Science, a specialist qualification awarded in anaesthesiology or related discipline, or eligibility to sit Board examinations having completed an approved residency, be committed and able to teaching and be able to manage a service caseload, etc.
The facilities and equipment are of the highest standard, with a spacious, modern, purpose-built space. The hospital is supported by a Laboratory, which is located within the same building.
