Permanent Vet Required in Somerset

Our client in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare requires a vet to join them full time. Whilst they are looking for a permanent Vet to join them from July 2020 onwards, they will accept a Locum in the meantime. Ideally you should have at least 2 years’ experience. You will be working with small animals. You will be working 4 days a week and hours can be flexible and you will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends between 09:00-13:00 on both days. One night a fortnight you will be required to cover out of hours. Salary is DOE. Short term accommodation is possible and CPD can be funded. There is more of an emphasis on surgery than medicine with this role so being more confident with surgery would be advantageous.
